Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Institute for Urban Education (IUE) is a scholarship and supplemental preparation program that supports students seeking teacher certification (undergraduate OR Master of Arts in Teaching) at UMKC. IUE scholarships are available to incoming freshman, transfer students and students applying to the Master of Arts in Teaching program. In exchange for their IUE scholarship, students commit to teach in an IUE partner urban district for four years following graduation.
