Our Crowdfunding Groups
Although we love the smell of old books that’s just not the reality in education today. Today’s education happens in books, online, in e-books and in the clinic so it can quickly incorporate all the newest research tested knowledge. Gone is the need for rows and rows of old books all in the same room but it doesn’t lessen the need for a quiet, welcoming place to study for the next class or exam. When the SOD library resources were moved to a health sciences shared library space we had the opportunity to re-imagine what our old library space could be and we want it to welcome and attract students and give them a place they can use to be successful. Designed with feedback from students, this much-needed space will provide areas for students to meet and study, offering them access to technology in quiet rooms and group sitting areas. It will be the only designated study space in the building.
